You can be a part of what we do...
At Holy Cross Anglican School, learning happens every day—above ground in a classroom.
But what happens beneath the school buildings matters just as much. The school’s aging latrine system needs a refresh, specifically to the filtration system stored safely underneath the schools’ bathrooms.
The Holy Cross Education Foundation is hoping to raise $150,000 to provide much needed updates and improvements to the infrastructure surrounding the waste recycling and treatment system beneath the bathrooms – something we’re going to refer to as the ‘water garden’.
The water garden, in its current state, is reinforced with a wooden frame, which deteriorates as quickly as the waste inside the treatment system in the extreme island climate. Your gift will help build a concrete structure that will last for decades while preventing seepage, another current risk with the wooden structure. This new water garden will continue to provide safe sanitation, protecting fragile ground - and coastal waters, and ensure the school has an infrastructure solution that will last for decades.
Will you help be part of building a healthier future for Holy Cross?
With gratitude,
Brian Ostenso, Board Chair

Recurring Donation to Support Holy Cross
- What impact does $25 a month have in San Mateo? Your monthly contribution will help to provide fresh drinking water, a uniform, shoes, and classroom materials to a student in need.
- The meal program at Holy Cross Anglican School is one of a kind. A high quality education is not achievable on an empty stomach. Just $35 per month covers the cost to feed a student at Holy Cross.
- The annual cost to fully sponsor a student at Holy Cross is $700. A monthly donation of $60 gives a chance to a student who otherwise would not be afforded the opportunity.
